Winter 2000

BA 226 - Business Law I

This was an interesting course, I learned a lot about law in general and the meaning of many legal terms.  The instructor worked part time at PCC and part time at Mount Hood Community College.  He was a nice guy and had a lot of interesting stories to go with the lectures.  This was a 3 credit hour course and my final grade was an A.  Transferred to UTA as BA 23X0.

WR 121 - English Composition

This was your typical english composition course.  The instructor for this course was an older lady, not quite as personable.  Being home schooled, I had never actually written a paper before.  I found out that I could write a paper, but not quite as successfully as I had hoped.  This was a 3 credit hour course and my final grade was a B.  Transferred to UTA as ENGL 1301 (which I retook anyway).

Spring 2000

CIS 120 - Computer Concepts I

This was an online course; I was already familiar with computers and all the usual software.  It was supposed to be easy, however I wasn't very timely getting my work in and my hard drive died a week before finals week.  Chalk one up to experience.  This was a 4 hour course and my final grade was an F.

Fall 2000

MSD 163B - Problem Solving / Decision Making

I took this course because I was trying to get a promotion at UPS.  I honestly don't remember much about this course other than that I had to mail in my final project.  This was a 1 hour course and my final grade was an A.

MTH 60 - Introductory Algebra

The instructor for this course was a high school math teacher with a part time job at PCC.  He was a very nice guy.  I remember after turning in the first test, he asked me if I was sure I should be in this course.  I was thinking I had done something horrible, but it turns out I had done so well he thought I should be in the next course instead.  This was a 4 credit hour course and my final grade was an A.

GOVT 2305 - American National Government

The instructor was a democrat.  I don't have any proof, but he certainly acted like it.  He would also start every class by saying "Good morning.  It's Tuesday."  Or Thursday, whatever.  But he would stretch it out so long and he said it the same way every day.  Quite annoying.  This was a 3 credit hour course and my final grade was an A.  Transferred to UTA as POLS 1311.

HIST 1301 - History of the US to Reconstruction

This class was taught by a guy who was mostly just interested in how the Indians were screwed over by the Americans.  Which, granted, was a significant part of that portion of history.  He wrote books about the Indians and everything.  His tests were ridiculously easy, his main concern was the class project.  I had to interview a senior citizen for this class, so I interviewed my landlord.  It was about an hour long, I still have the audio and transcript if anyone is interested.  This was a 3 credit hour course and my final grade was an A.  Transferred to UTA as HIST 1311.

MATH 1314 - College Algebra

I remembered algebra being much easier in 2000, but still it wasn't so bad.  This was a 3 credit hour course and my final grade was a B.  (Apparently I got a little dumber over the previous three years.)  Transferred to UTA as MATH 1302.

MUSI 1306 - Music Appreciation

The teacher for this class was the least organized and least interested teacher I have ever had.  He unapologetically refused to make any effort to learn anyone's names; a number of times he lost people's papers (and thus their grades also).  This was a 3 credit hour course and my final grade was an A.  Transferred to UTA as a fine arts elective.

PSYC 2301 - Introduction to Psychology

The most anal professor up to this point.  She would send people away if they were a minute late, with or without a good excuse.  Just the same, she seemed to have a decent understanding of the subject matter.  This was a 3 credit hour course and my final grade was an A.  Transferred to UTA as PSYC 1315.
