My name is Kacie Landrum. I'm currently double-majoring in history and English at The University of Texas at Arlington. Once I graduate I hope to spend a few years teaching English in Japan. After that, who knows what will happen? Currently, I'm leaning toward going back to school for a Ph.D. in history and becoming a college professor, but that may change at any time. As for my personal interests... hmmm... I took piano lessons for thirteen years.
I can also play "Hot Cross Buns" on the recorder and "Sakura" on the koto, but neither very well. :P Reading is my main pasttime -- as a child I never got in trouble for misbehaving in class or causing fights, but I got scolded for reading in class about once a week! My record is thirty books in five days. (I usually don't mention that the books themselves were mostly Babysitter's Club books, with less than 150 pages each; it sounds much more impressive if people believe I'm referring to large, hefty tomes.)
